For those who are wondering who "big black stinky dog" is. This is Zoe my upstairs neighbors' dog. She has a little problem with chasing cat's. Unfortunately she dose not think before taking out after them. Some times they are not the kind of cat she is safe in chasing. She was spared three times this last summer.
We managed to clean her up two of those time's, but the last time it got her in the face and there was no way of cleaning up her face with tomato juice. It was a very stinky summer. That was when she started to be referred to as "big black stinky do" by my self. She is a very sweet do and always so glad to see any one who will look her way.
As to myself, I have been keeping busy with some new projects. I had been a bit down for about two and a half years and stopped at my local art store to see what was new. I found a flier for their new classes and there were three that were free, Yes that is right Free Yes you have read it right. I new I had to take advantage of them.
Altered Book, Art Journaling, and Stamp club. I am no longer feeling down and have been very busy learning new techniques and all about all the new products out there (it had been years since I had visited the art store). I have also been looking over all the wonderful videos of other peoples work. Now I have to have cards for each day as to what needs to be done or I use all my time playing. There is nothing wrong with playing but not at the expense of the rest of my life. And speaking of needing to take care of the other things. I had best get to it. Oh ya here is one of my pages form Altered Books. I so not do the covers until I get done with it as the covers he beat up so bad from use. Learned that one the hard way. This is the inside of the front cover of one of them. I can not work on just one thing at a time. I have two Altered books going and on Art Journal and some ATCs in the works at this time
AS I was saying earlier, I need to get some work done around here and best get to it. Will be back later.

It is Tuesday morning and thought I would bring you up to date. I am using a larger type so I can see it clearly. I still do not have my new glasses after having eye surgery. Another two weeks at best.
Want to share some photos with you. This is Fiona Rose (8 lbs.)and this is who I am a slave to. I only am allowed to be in this house at her pleasure. She is not the only one I must cater to.
This is Ferguson. Doing what he dose best. He is 19 lbs. Now you would think that he would rule the roost. Not so. She can wipe the floor up with him. She takes no none sense from him. Then again he is a big baby.
As for what I am up to: I am working on Christmas tags. Using purchase tags and using Citrasolve images and embossed stamps. Such as snow flakes, angles, snow men and what ever else I have. The embossing will be in gold and silver. Should be interesting.
I have been attending some free classes at my local art store the last couple of months. They are Stamp Club, Altered Books , Creative Journal ling, and Mixed Media (this one is not free, but good). I have been enjoying myself learning new techniques and meeting new friends. I will share some photos with you later. Have not taken any of my work of late. I am also busy altering the sleeves on a sweater (need to be shorter by several inches). Spinning up some fibers that I have had stored away for a time. Cutting wood and getting prepared for winter, as well as going to a women' s Bible study (lasts only 6 weeks) as well as my regular Bible study that runs through the year except for the summer. Then I also volunteer at my church office on Friday mornings, I also go to the "Y" three times a week to use the therapy pool. Retirement is exhausting.
See ya later

Getting Started
Well this did not seem to hard. I would like to hear from those who trade ATCs. I guess I have been living under a rock as I just found out about ATCs. They are great fun. Off to another subject. Where the heck did Summer go to. I heat with wood and have had to have a fire in the evenings all this week. I am going to have to become a Snow Bird to survive. I know for a fact I am not ready for winter. That is enough for now. Ta and talk at you later.
