A New Year

Hi again, It has been a while but, was very busy over the holidays. Well, at least that is my story and I am sticking with it.
Really was busy. I told you about the classes I have been taking at the art store then started two new classes on line. One is through Milliande.com and the other is from Strathmoore art supplies. Milliande is every day and the theme for this year (as far as it goes) is Zebra stripes. Strathmoore is once a week and is a basic journaling class.

Day 3  We were to make our own stamps and do a page.  I had so much fun with this one that when I needed wrapping paper for a gift I was taking to a party ( Feast of the Three Kings ) I used my stamps to make the paper.

I painted the paper with acrylic paint then stamped with stamp pad ink. So fun.

There is not a day 4 yet as I forgot and went to day 5 and had so much fun with it and took about three days to do it that now I am behind and have to catch up.
This is Day 5. Hand Zebras. I used Prisma color pencils and pastel chalk.

Must go for now. Need to keep the house warm and I have more journal pages to do. We are in the midst of a snow storm that will ,by night fall, turn into a rain storm for about 4 days. Oh yippee skip-pee.
